Join usThis laboratory widely recruits students who are interested in mysteries of howliving organisms build their bodies and who are willing to be involved inexploring original research areas.

There are two ways to do join to the Onuma groupgroup: 1) as an undergraduatestudent in the Faculty of Science or 2)as a graduate student in the Graduate School of Science and Engineering

We strongly recommend you to visit the laboratory in advance (or, you can alsoreceive a remote orientation, e.g., Zoom, prior to your visit). It is important toshare more about the lab's policies and research topics.

If you talk with us and still find our work interesting, you don’t mind what yourbackground in expertise is. We will teach you our expertise in developmentalbiology and larvacean research well after you assigned. In our labs, we useknowledge of molecular biology at undergraduate level for everydaydiscussions, but this is also something you can get used to after yourassignment.
